Kayak Series names
To avoid any possible confusion about kayak models when looking at photos etc - all Neris hybrid folding kayaks (EG Smart / Smart PRO) have a Series logo on the front side deck and all Neris folding kayaks (Alu / Valkure) have a Series logo on the rear deck.
EG - you will only see "NERIS SMART PRO" on all three Smart PRO models

water is open to paddlers, some access points / rivers are privately owned
or is bounded by
land which is private, so do check beforehand. Membership of a
canoe union / club is very beneficial.

- Spray deck covers - colours and cockpit hole sizes
Spray deck colours
The default colour of spray decks is black. You can request to have colour matching or different colour spray decks if you wish at no extra cost. Some photos below shows how the colour of the spray deck changes the appearance of the boat. Those considering an all black or khaki green kayaks can opt to get a "hi-viz" spraydeck to increase visibility when off-shore.
Please note that the current standard stock colours of the kayaks and rafts are Red, Orange, Blue, Light Grey, Khaki Green and Black. Other colours are available on special request, subject to fabric availability.
The bulk of other coloured boats seen in various photos were made prior to 2020, which were produced using a previous PVC supplier's fabric of which existing fabric stock is running out.
Small cockpit hole (Loading hatches)
On some tandems and multi-seaters, there is a central small cockpit included which are loading hatches, which can also be used for a small child or dog/s. Single seaters like the Smart PRO S can have loading hatches included - special request. Note that with adding on small cockpits may require excluding mesh pockets.
Extra large cockpit hole version
Spraydecks comes with a standard sized paddler cockpit hole. There is a larger cockpit hole version available (XL) on special request. Recommended for tallish paddlers (6ft 4+), or for those with knee problems, or prefer to paddle with knees fairly bent (knee caps above hieght of spraydeck). These XL cockpits are also ideal for racing Valkure-2 folding kayaks as they do allow for quick entry / exits at portages. For tandem spraydecks, you can request to have a extra large cockpit hole for the rear with a standard sized cockpit hole for the front. When you order an extra large cockpit hole, check that you will get the correct sized waist skirts and cockpit covers.
